Did Belkin actually make something useful for a change? Maybe. Unveiled at CES earlier this week, the Belkin Podcast Studio (oh) sports an internal mic, speaker, and XLR connections. The notable features on the interface include a couple of gain control switches (one per channel?), a mono/stereo toggle, and what appears to be a filter switch. Yeah, it leaves much to be desired, but it would be more than adequate for its intended purpose and, at a rumored price of $100 USD, it might suffice as a po' man's R-09 or Zoom H4. Someone want to field test this for me?
